Full payment is required for projects $600 and under. Projects over $600, will require a non-refundable deposit of 50% prior to project commencement. All payments must be made within 48 hours of receipt of initial invoice or all project terms and agreed upon timeframes are null and void.
All remaining unpaid balances are due within 24 hours of the client’s final design approval. Upon receipt and clearance of the final payment, the design will be finalized, and all images without watermarks, along with the required final file types, will be delivered to the client.
A late payment fee will apply to any invoice paid after the 24-hour deadline:
-$50 for graphic design projects
-$150 for web design projects
Timely payment ensures the smooth delivery of your project and avoids additional fees. Non-payment beyond two weeks will result in the forfeiture of rights to any designs. Rights can be repurchased with a penalty fee of 50% of the total project cost plus the remaining balance.
Payments are accepted via Paypal, or with a debit/credit card. Cashapp/Zelle/Venmo is available upon request. Project commencement will not occur until payment has been 100% cleared.
All pricing at Beeljay Creative is subject to change at any time. All pricing agreements made prior to any changes will be honored and remain valid on all open projects or up to 60 days after a quote has been provided.
Beeljay Creative does not provide refunds for any projects that have been started or paid for unless agreed upon. If partial work has already been received by the client and they choose to cancel the project, any payments received will not be refunded for any reason. This includes any consulations as well. In addition to not receiving a refund ownership of all artwork, layouts and development will remain the property of Beeljay Creative and finalized will not be sent to the client for their use. If the project is in it’s final stages or full payment has already been received, ownership will be transferred to client.
The ONLY exception in which a refund will be provided is in the event that Beeljay Creative is unable to complete the project due to circumstances beyond my control, such as sickness or unfortunate incidence.
ANY design work presented to you prior to project completion is for review and approval purposes only. Concepts may not be copied, manipulated, or distributed to any person or company outside of Beeljay Creative. Any use of concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of our rights if they are used elsewhere. Beeljay Creative owns all copyrighted work and designs provided until final payment has cleared. Beeljay Creative retains sole possession of all intellectual property. Legal action will be taken against anyone in violation of the copyright laws protecting designs, concepts, and projects.
Please provide clear, consolidated feedback when requesting revisions. To help keep your project on schedule, all requested changes should be submitted together in a single email or document whenever possible.
All design projects include three (3) rounds of revisions. A revision round consists of one consolidated list of requested changes submitted by the client. Multiple emails or messages containing additional changes after revisions have begun may be considered part of a new revision round.
Once the included three (3) revision rounds have been used, any additional revisions will be billed at the following hourly rates:
- $40 per hour for graphic design projects
- $50 per hour for website design and web-related projects
Revision requests that differ significantly from the originally approved concept, project scope, or creative direction may be considered a new project or subject to a separate quote at Beeljay Creative's discretion.
These revision limits are in place to help ensure projects are completed within a reasonable timeframe while allowing Beeljay Creative to maintain an efficient production schedule and provide the highest quality service to all clients.
Developing a vision for your business and brand is important and it is my job to help you relay that vision to your target audience. I have no problem coming up with my own concepts, but please keep in mind our creative visions may not match and this tends to lead to more revisions and longer turnaround times than necessary. Please have some form on concept or style for your project to ensure that I can provide you with designs that best fit your brand.
Clients are required to submit all high-resolution photos and verbiage required for their project via email. Low resolution photos will not result in the best quality design. In the event that stock photos are required an additional fee may occur to cover the cost of image licenses. Please make sure all submitted content is grammar and spell checked. Beeljay Creative will not be held liable for any copyrighted information submitted that you do not have rights to.
COMMUNICATION
All written forms of communication regarding concepts, details, and changes will take place via email so that we both have records of correspondence. Emails are generally answered within 48 business hours. I operate between the hours of 10am–6pm Pacific Standard Time (PST). Any phone or video meetings must be scheduled at least 48 business hours in advance.
FILE DELIVERY AND RETENTION
Logo designs will always be sent in .JPG, .PNG, and .Ai format. There will be no additional charge for the vector format as this is a required format to ensure that your logo can be scaled to any size without losing quality.
All other digital projects (flyers, business cards, website graphics, etc) are sent in .JPG, .PNG format or non-editable .PDF format.
All source .PSD or .AI files remain the property of Beeljay Creative. Once a project has been finalized and the files have been delivered to you, (with the exception of source files) you own the rights to what you have purchased.
All final project files are delivered via a digital download link, which remains active for 30 days from the date of issuance. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up all files to a secure location within this period. Once the 30-day window expires a reupload fee will apply to regenerate and send a new download link.
Editable Canva templates and shared design links are also guaranteed to remain available for 30 days from the date of delivery. Clients are responsible for opening the link, saving a copy of the template to their own Canva account, and downloading any completed files within this period. After 30 days, Beeljay Creative cannot guarantee that the original template or shared link will remain accessible. If a template must be recreated or shared again, an additional fee may apply.
Beeljay Creative assumes no liability for lost, corrupted, or deleted files once delivered, nor do we guarantee that archived files can be recovered after the initial delivery period.
Copyrighting and/or trademarking your logo is solely up to you and not the responsibility of Beeljay Creative.
Beeljay Creative reserves the right to display completed projects in it's portfolio and use them for marketing, promotional, educational, social media, or advertising purposes unless otherwise prohibited by a legally binding non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or a written agreement made prior to project completion.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, all completed websites will include a discreet website credit identifying Beeljay Creative as the website designer, typically displayed in the website footer.
If your project requires confidentiality or you would prefer that it not be displayed in Beeljay Creative's portfolio or include a website credit, please notify Beeljay Creative before project completion so appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
